Configure Web Content Filtering Allowlist Domains

Use when your organisation's network needs to explicitly allow your Learners to access GenLearn web resources

• This article is not for configuring GenLearn's Conversation Allowlist Domains 
• This article is only relevant if your organisation blocks access to new web URLs by default
• This article requires configuration of your organisation's Web Content Filtering system
• If you do not have the permissions to perform this, send this article to your IT representative

Steps

1. Determine whether your conversations are being embedded from:
   1. GenLearn's SaaS Domain: Your embed codes contain "genlearnai.com"
   2. Enterprise Account Custom Domain: Your embed codes contain "name.company.com"
2. You can configure either a single wildcard rule, or explicit individual rules for each required subdomain

SaaS Domain

1. Wildcard Rule: *.genlearnai.com
2. Explicit Rules
   1. chat.genlearnai.com
   2. tutor.genlearnai.com
   3. api.chat.genlearnai.com
   4. assets.genlearnai.com
   5. feature-flags.chat.genlearnai.com

Custom Domain

1. Naming Convention
   1. name - The subdomain you chose when setting up your Custom Domain
   2. company - Your company's domain name
2. Wildcard Rule: *.name.company.com
3. Explicit Rules:
   1. chat.name.company.com
   2. app.name.company.com
   3. api.name.company.com
   4. assets.name.company.com
   5. feature-flags.name.company.com
