Configure Custom Domain

Use when you want to configure a Custom Domain for your GenLearn Enterprise account

This feature is typically used to simplify your customers permitting access to your GenLearn conversations

• This feature is only available on the Enterprise plan
• This feature typically takes 2-3 business days from request to completion
• Step 3 of this article requires your technical representative with permissions to configure DNS

Steps

1. Identify your desired subdomain (e.g. learn.yourcompany.com)
   Note: You can choose any subdomain, you are not required to use learn
   
   

2. Request DNS Information

   1. Email your preferred subdomain to your Enterprise Account Manager; or

   2. Submit a Ticket with Subject "Request Custom Domain Configuration"
      
      

3. Configure DNS

   1. You will receive an email containing the following DNS Configuration:

      1. Two TXT records (these give us permission to configure the subdomain)

      2. Two CNAME records tailored (these actually configure the subdomain)

   2. Pass this email to your technical representative with DNS skills and permissions
      
      

4. Notify GenLearn of completion

   1. When Step 3 is complete, reply to the email received in Step 3 advising "DNS configuration has been completed by our technical team"

      
      

5. Configure Custom Domain

   1. GenLearn Support will confirm that Step 3 was performed correctly, and then configure your Custom Domain on your Enterprise account

   2. Please allow 2-3 business days for completion of this configuration
